The Glowing Green Smoothie

You’ve probably have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is also the first meal of the day and in fact people who can maintain a healthy weight are the ones who eat a healthy breakfast just about every day.

I personally love to start my days with lots of green vegetables and fruits. In fact smoothie is one of the best ways to receive and absorb all the essential nutrients and cleanse your body from free radicals and toxins. You can also add great medicinal herbs and spices to your daily juices and enjoy the most compact, high quality and nutritional plant based smoothie ever!

All you need to make a smoothie is a blender and organic fruits and vegetables

Here are the top organic fruits and vegetables that you can use daily and receive most of the essential nutrients that your body needs:

Kale: Kale is a great anti-inflammatory leafy vegetable full of iron, calcium, omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. In fact kale has more iron than beef and is a great source of fiber that can help to prevent heart disease, arthritis and cancer. Kale is a great superfood that can help digestive and liver problems and get rid of free radicals in the body.

Celery: Celery is an amazing source of essential nutrients and minerals including vitamin A, B1, B2, B6 and C and magnesium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, folic acid, calcium and essential amino acids. Celery is an anti-inflammatory, lowers bad cholesterol and blood pressure and help digestion, sexuality and insomnia.

Cabbage: Cabbage is full of antioxidant and vitamin C and can help to maintain stronger hair follicle, reduce free radicals, and fight against cancer, colds and flu and Alzheimers disease, help proper nervous function and can strengthen your immune system.

Carrot: The rich source of beta-carotene in carrots is converted into vitamin A in liver. Carrot is a great antiseptic and an antioxidant and can cleanse body, fight against cancer, prevent stoke and heart disease and promote healthy skin, and healthy teeth and gums.

Raw cacao beans: 80% of Americans have magnesium deficiency that can lead to many chronic illnesses and diseases. Raw cacao is a great antioxidant and amazing source of magnesium, calcium, sulfur, zinc, iron, copper, potassium, and manganese, vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B9 and E, protein and fiber. Organic raw cacao is a great superfood that can promote cardiovascular health, fight cancer, cleanse body, improve digestion and promote mental and physical health.

Broccoli: Broccoli is a great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory full of vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron and fiber. Broccoli is known for its anti-cancerous properties; it can also prevent stomach disorders and cure stomach infections. Broccoli can fight breast cancer, especially in women. The phytochemicals found in broccoli called “sulforaphane” activates enzymes that throws carcinogen out of cell before cancer can do any harm. So ladies don’t forget to have your broccoli everyday!

Goji berries: Goji berries are an amazing source of antioxidants, they have 12 trace of minerals, 18 amino acids, calcium, iron and vitamin A and C. Goji berries can improve immune system, eye vision and protect body against aging and Alzheimer's.

Cinnamon: Cinnamon can improve blood-glucose level by increasing insulin sensitivity and can lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Cinnamon and cayenne pepper both have obesity-fighting capabilities.

Cayenne pepper: Cayenne pepper is a great anti-inflammatory, anti-allergen, has antibacterial properties and helps digestive problems, blood clotting, supports detox and can promote weight loss. I always add both cayenne pepper and cinnamon to my morning juices.
