Every six seconds, one person dies because of diabetes and both American Diabetes Association and American Dietetic Association are in bed with giant biotech, chemical and pharmaceutical companies

Diabetes affects more than 382 million people worldwide and according to International Diabetes Federation, every six seconds, one person dies because of diabetes. The statistics show that just in the last two years, the number of people diagnosed with diabetes has increased by 4.4% and by 2035, the this number is going to increase by 55%.

The main factors behind diabetes are unhealthy lifestyle choices including poor eating habits, stress and obesity. While research has shown that eating organic and raw foods can reverse diabetes in 60 to 90 days, the expensive medication for treating diabetes has cost the global health-care more than $548 billion.

every six seconds, one person die because of diabetes

In fact, the rate of diabetes has increased a lot faster than the world population and many young adults and children are affected by this epidemic. In United States alone, 25.8 million children and adults have diabetes while 79 million Americans are pre-diabetic.

Both the American Diabetes Association and American Dietetic Association are in bed with giant biotech and pharmaceutical companies:

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) has gathered a great wealth under its current charity role by receiving big donations from giant pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical companies including PepsiCo, Merck, Monsanto and the Sugar Lobby.

ADA claims that its role is to fight against diabetes and improve the lives of those who are affected by this health epidemic. However, the reality cannot be any further from the truth, since the role of ADD and American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) has been mostly to push for meals low in fat and high in carbs.

American Diabetes Association and American Dietetic Association have distributed seriously flawed information about ‘healthy living’ by pushing for more consumption of high carb meals, soybeans, corn and canola (that are mostly genetically modified).

In fact, American Diabetes Association has been successful to promote the word ‘fat’ as ‘unhealthy’ while the word ‘Low-fat’ or ‘non-fat’ are now considered ‘healthy’. However, the reality again cannot be any further form the truth since our bodies need good ‘fat’ (from healthy organic food sources like avocado, wild salmon, seeds, nuts and olive oil) to get rid of bad ‘fat’ or saturated fat (from animal products like meat or diary).

Since ‘Low-fat’ or non-fat’ products or diets are now considered ‘healthy’, the junk food industry benefits the most from selling non-fat or law-fat products like diet sodas that contain toxic artificial sweeteners and additives including aspartame or NutraSweet.

Toxic foods like corn, soybean and canola that are patented by Frankenfood companies are also promoted as ‘healthy’ by American Dietetic Association, not to mention that both the American Diabetes Association and American Dietetic Association receive millions of dollars in donation from Frankenfood companies like Monsanto.
The nutritional guide provided by American Dietetic Association considers whole or raw milk ‘dangerous’ and ‘unhealthy’, while it encourages people to eat GMO canola, corn or soy.

Toxic ‘Aspartame’ or NutraSweet products (that exist in snacks, chocolate bars, dairy, soups or sodas) are considered ‘safe’ and the idea that removing fat from a product makes that product ‘healthy’ has successfully been sold to the American public by these organizations.

American Dietetic Association has also parented with giant pharmaceutical companies including Merck and biotech companies including Monsanto to ban and impose restricted laws on effective dietary supplements including colloidal silver (natural antibiotics) or colloidal platinum (used for cancer treatment) while it heavily promotes chemotherapy drugs and medications that will benefit giant Pharmaceutical and chemical companies.

The pharmaceutical lobby has also a death grip on Congress and while hundreds of thousands of people die every year from prescription drugs, drinking raw milk or offering natural cancer-treatments or supplements are considered illegal.

The American Dietetic Association has recently changed its name to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Nonprofit organizations like American Diabetes Association, American Dietetic Association or American Cancer Society routinely accept cash from giant chemical, biotech and pharmaceutical companies. In fact, the main contributors and sponsors of these so called ‘non-profit’ organizations are companies like Monsanto, Procter & Gamble, and the National Dairy Council, PepsiCo, Coca Cola, Merck & Co, Pfizer Inc.

As if being in bed with giant pharmaceutical and biotech companies wasn’t bad enough, American Dietetic Association now refers to itself as ‘the world largest organization of food and nutrition professionals’.

American Dietetic Association has been trying to set up a monopoly by attacking and criminalizing individuals who are not officially licensed by ADA and have been giving nutritional advice to others.

ADA who has been trying to pass restrictive licensing laws that would specifically target bloggers, herbalists and unlicensed nutritionists from providing nutritional information. In fact, the North Carolina blogger, Steve Cooksey was recently targeted by North Carolina Board of Dietetics/Nutrition (NCBDN) for providing information about the Paleolithic diet that helped him to cure his diabetes.

In order to avoid persecution, Cooksey was told to shut down his blog and NCBDN claimed that under current laws in North Carolina, nutritional free speech was illegal and the law forbids the unlicensed individuals from giving or providing nutritional information for others.

Bloggers across the nation were outraged at NCBDN’s censorship of Cooksey’s blog and Mytheos Holt on TheBlaze.com writes  “This is the sort of story you expect to come from a third world superstitious kleptopcracy – yet it happened here on American soil, in North Carolina, thanks to good old fashioned state-level bureaucracy”.

“The state board declared that Cooksey couldn’t even offer free and private advice to his friends over the phone. With that kind of legal standard, who among us would not be a criminal?” writes Kelly Jane Torrance on WeeklyStandard.com.

While ADA does not hesitate to crush other competitors by seeking monopoly on health and nutritional advice, it also encourages its members to file complaint against individuals who are providing and giving nutritional advice without a license.

Last year, Forbes published an internal document on how ADA plans to limit market competition in nutrition consoling. The document shows how ADA is planning to attack market competitors, and take legislative action to restrict free speech in health and nutrition.

If ADA succeed to have nutritional monopoly by restricting bloggers and unlicensed individuals from telling people that eating kale and broccoli is healthy, soon the only licensed nutritionists and doctors will be those who believe aspartame, white rice and bread, MSG, high fructose corn syrup and GMO corn, soy and canola are considered ‘healthy’ and ‘nutritious’.
